Let them carry me away, to any place that they have chosen for me. One day I become the stream - the stream that flows to the ocean; the moment of peace right before drowning.

Thank you for the lyrics.. I can't say I'm familiar with the band itself, but the song with it's Biblical connotation... I guess it's fitting. Someone fucking someone else up in the context of love. .. Ahh what can you do...

Sentenced are well worth getting to know to if any kind of melancholy music catches your ear. One of Finland's greatest acts, 1989-2005, requiescat in pace. True to all great entities, Sentenced willingly "went to the grave" over the course of the year 2005, as they were at their peak. [link] And their lyrics are well worth a mention, too. [link]
Finland seems to be full of melancholy acts and depressive walls of sound, of all sorts... Go figure.

But that is just the thing; people WOULD rather forget such events, I'm trying to challenge that notion. It is uncomfortable to think of those moments when we felt most alone and forgotten - but we can't deny that they existed. We need to learn from these experiences and face them. The only reason someone would find it uncomfortable to recall is because he hasn't dealt with it properly in the first place... At least in my opinion.
The reason I drew that was an expulsion of the feeling from myself, like admitting that I feel that way, and the only way to get it out was to put it into a visual form... and strangely every time I do it with a piece of work, I feel lighter.
